About your itinerary

? Don't forget that if something isn't quite right we can make changes to the itinerary.
I am delighted and SO excited to present you with your stunning Greek Adventure for your very special birthday trip with your friends, get ready to explore the amazing city of Athens and the LGBT capital of Mykonos.
I have included private transfers through the itinerary, and the hotel provides transfers on the Island of Mykonos. For your Ferries between islands, I have included business-class seats for comfort and extra space while hopping around the islands.
For your time in Athens, I have included 3 rooms ensuring everyone has enough space and comfort as for most of the time in Athens I am sure you will be out and about exploring.
Your Private villa awaits you on the Island of Mykonos, this villa is the epitome of luxury. Giving you enough space and such a beauitful design on the villas themselves, as I mentioned the villa is private but you will share the pool area with another villa. All of our clients that have stayed here have loved the aspect of sharing an area with another villa as most people who head to Mykonos want to socialize during their time here.
I have included some recommended experiences should you want to add these to enhance your trip. These wouldn't need to be added In until 2026 so there's plenty of time for you to discuss with your friends.
I really hope you love the itinerary for your very special birthday in 2026, the perk of looking this far ahead is we have benefitted from some incredible rates with the villa itself.
So excited to hear your thoughts on this exciting adventure to Greece, as discussed I will cal you on Tuesday at 1:00 pm EST.
Have a great weekend and look forward to speaking with you next week,
Matt Walters

Welcome to Athens

Text Welcome to Athens
With equal measures of grunge and grace, Athens is a heady mix of ancient history and contemporary cool.
The magnificent Acropolis, visible from almost every part of the city, is the hub around which Athens still revolves. This temple city, built in the 5th century BC, serves as a daily reminder to Greeks of their heritage and the city's many transformations. All over the urban basin, rooftops and balconies angle toward the landmark, a block of milky marble atop a steep-sided hill. Pull up your own chair, settle in and allow time to appreciate the Acropolis' many moods, as the light shifts and the clouds cast their shifting shadows.
The cultural and social life of Athens plays out amid, around and in landmarks that are centuries old, if not millennia. The remnants of Ancient Greece get the most attention, of course, thanks to a little thing called democracy. Oh, and mythology, and drama, and philosophy. But don't overlook the 'later' years: thousand-year-old Byzantine churches, for instance, which squat, unruffled in the middle of streets and attached to hillsides. Ottoman traces can be seen in architecture and in food. And the neoclassical style of the 19th century adds elegance all over the centre.
Although Athenians have endured difficult circumstances since the start of the economic crisis in 2009, the city as a whole crackles with energy in art shows, political debates and even on the walls of derelict buildings, as Athens has become one of Europe's most noted spots for street art. Creative surprises lie around nearly every corner, so be sure to leave room in your schedule for spontaneous discovery: buy a ticket to that dance show that's just starting as you walk by, or sit down at the restaurant where the musicians are setting up. You'll be rewarded.

Accommodation Ergon House for 2 nights
Completing this holistic hospitality experience built on the foundations of Greek Food, Ergon House offers contemporary living spaces spread over the floors above the marketplace. All rooms include the hotel's signature breakfast and come in four sizes, with privileged access to communal kitchens and lounges, a gym and a panoramic rooftop terrace.
The spaces are a collaboration with leading local designers and artists – the tribute to Greece ever-present in natural materials, traditional craft and references to the vernacular, paired with a strong contemporary line.
Large, double-glazed windows invite all the spectacle and none of the soundtrack to views of the Parthenon and city, or the buzz of the Agora. Seamless service is a given and we’ve done away with in-room dining because the whole Ergon House experience places food centre stage.
So, while the curated minibar delicatessen should tide you over, the Agora awaits some of the best food in town, or fresh market ingredients with which to make your own magic in one of the dedicated kitchens.

Your room: Small Room

Every comfort you need is considered in SMALL’s compact space with custom mood lights, fittings and furniture, arranged in an open layout that is loosely screened by the retro chic of breeze blocks used on the Greek islands in the ‘60s. The twin beds or a raised four-poster bed reminiscent of the traditional ‘ontades’ of Pelion is the centrepiece to ultra-contemporary interiors that feature an open closet and wireless work area.

Natural daylight floods through large double-glazed windows with atrium views as well as a glass brick feature wall. In the wet areas, walnut parquets transition to grey marble and patterned tiles inspired by medieval ‘xysta’ motifs found on the island of Chios. Beautiful basins, hand-carved from time-worn marble steps, are a pleasing contrast to sleek, brushed brass fixtures in a bathroom stocked with natural products that are custom-made for Ergon House.
