Waldorf Astoria
The Waldorf Astoria is a classic luxury hotel in the Maldives. The private yacht ride from the airport is seamless and no expense is spared. Enjoy canapés whilst you sail, but do eat them quick: the boat ride won’t take more than 30-minutes.
You might be close to Male but you’ll feel like you’re staying on one of the Maldives’ more remote private islands. There are 11 restaurants and bars to choose from. You can even dine in a pod in a treetop restaurant. All of the villas are oversized and well spaced out so you’ll have plenty of privacy. All villas come with private pools. Floor-to-ceiling windows will give you panoramic views.
One&Only Reethi Rah
A 40-minute speedboat will take you to Reethi Rah island. One&Only is firmly established among the Maldives’ luxury hotels. It’s an all-villa destination stretching across six kilometres of secluded coastline. Soft white sand, blue lagoons and stunning sunsets all compliment each other to bring tranquillity to your holiday escape.
One&Only Reethi Rah is located in the North Malé Atoll, a jewel among a string of coral atolls, lagoons and white sands. For convenience, Reethi Rah time has been set one hour ahead of Malé time, providing an extra hour of daylight. The villas were designed by Jean-Michel Gathy and they are extremely chic. Many big-name celebrities have made repeat visits to One&Only Reethi Rah.
